ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
If you are young and you share an apartment, then this novel is for you.
April is desperate. After three a three-year relationship, Eloi has left her, and on top of things... how is she going to pay rent? With no money and no boyfriend, April has decided not to tell anyone at the moment, least of all her family. At twenty-four, she must abide with an insufferable boss and resign herself to exhausting and precarious working conditions. Is this what she majored in art history for? While her life is falling apart, April has no choice but to look for someone to share her flat with. A flight attendant will become her leading candidate. A flight attendant with a few quirks. Turbulence ahead.
"My grandmother asked me if I'm alright, if I need anything, and offers me a white cloth handkerchief she always carries in her bag. I intend to tell her the truth: I'm not alright because Eloi is gone, and now I'm living in an apartment I can't afford, and I think my boss only hires women he wants to bang... But my grandmother Lolita, who turns ninety today, looks at me through her made-up eyes, and I finally say yes, everything is fine, I don't understand what's wrong with me."
