This new four-volume set, Holistic Approaches for Women's Sustainable Health, addresses this need, presenting a selection of thought-provoking chapters on myriad issues and aspects of women health. It offers extensive research, practical insights, and a heartfelt commitment to empowering women and health professionals to achieve optimal health and well-being. The books cover these main areas: Volume 1: Foundations, Innovations, Challenges, and Management Volume 2: Advancements, Socioeconomic Impacts, and Innovative Strategies Volume 3: Herbs, Spices, Phytochemicals, and Cereals: Body Care, Cancer Prevention, and Hormonal Health Volume 4: Benefits of Vegetables and Medicinal Plants and Trees Volume 1: Foundations, Innovations, Challenges, and Management helps to break down the barriers that have long hindered women from achieving their full health potential. The volume first introduces the concept of holistic approaches for women's sustainable health, covering a wide variety of themes that includes ethical considerations in women's healthcare, the health benefits of music and aroma therapy, yoga and meditation, and holistic approaches to depression and migrant headache. The volume explores the use of technological innovations in women's health, such as employing robotic surgery, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. It also looks at the impact of certain medical conditions and substance abuse on the health of women and fetuses, the impact of pesticides on neurological and general health of women, and more. Volume 2: Advancements, Socioeconomic Impacts, and Innovative Strategies considers that women's health is complex and impacted by social, cultural, psychological, and biological elements. The volume examines recent developments, socioeconomic effects, and creative approaches to improving female health globally. Chapters explore the external factors that impact women's health outcomes, ranging from the impact of marital relations and social problems to the implications of socioeconomic position on healthcare access. The book also addresses the psychological aspects of female health, with attention paid to stress, mental health, and the psychological effects of certain medical illnesses like breast cancer. Chapters also demonstrate the revolutionary potential of technology in tackling the health difficulties faced by women, ranging from digital ecosystems and the use of IoT and artificial intelligence in diagnostics to machine learning approaches for illness detection. New avenues for individualized and preventative care are made possible by the incorporation of cutting-edge technology like chatbots and ChatGPT into the healthcare industry. Volume 3: Herbs, Spices, Phytochemicals, and Cereals: Body Care, Cancer Prevention, and Hormonal Health takes a thorough and integrative approach that marries modern science with time-honored traditions, offering an in-depth exploration of the role of nutrients and traditional natural medicines in fostering female health. Chapters discuss the vitamins and minerals essential for reproductive health as well as traditional herbal and medicinal remedies that have been used for centuries to treat female-specific ailments or how illness specifically affect women, such as infections, diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), tuberculosis, etc. Also discussed are herbal remedies for the maintenance of vaginal health and hygiene as well as the health benefits of various spices, cereals and pseudocereals, milk and milk products, garlic, and more. Volume 4: Benefits of Vegetables and Medicinal Plants and Trees furthers the holistic philosophy by delving into the significant role of traditional medicinal plants and various natural remedies in promoting and sustaining female health. The book provides a broad overview of how medicinal plants have been historically utilized to support women's health and how contemporary research continues to validate their efficacy. The book also extols the benefits of vegetables and herbs in women's health, examining specific vegetables that offer unique health advantages for women, such as watercress, moringa, basil, etc. Others known for their potential to support female health are included, such as saffron milk, wild yam, various tree extracts, etc., are highlighted as well.
