Aristotle is the most renowned philosopher in Greece and the mentor of Alexander the Great, the invincible conqueror who has subdued all Greek cities and much of the known world. His close relationship with the powerful king makes many Athenians wish to see him destroyed, though Alexander's aura has always protected him. That is about to change. Amidst an era coming to an end, the Athenian Prometheus and the Spartan Penelope are drawn into the dangers surrounding Aristotle. As they struggle to survive, the shadow of an ancient secret will alter their destinies in a world on the verge of collapse.
