"Ignacio Cienfuegos is a private investigator that leads a lonely life and regards the world with despair. Business is bad and the bills are piling up one after the other as an implacable reminder of his misery. When the case of a poet's mysterious death comes knocking on his door, Cienfuegos begins inquiring, and to find out the truth he will have the help of a young and enthusiastic assistant. Through a thrilling narrative and his characteristic humor, Rubén Orozco leads us through a story that flows into unexpected twists. Very aware of the tradition in which he is inscribed, the author evokes legendary characters from movies and literature--James Bond, Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, and Columbo, among others--and adds an unforgettable detective duo to that repertoire."--
