Obsidian Raven

In the exhilarating conclusion to The Flight, Paul McKenzie takes you on a first person journey into his life and mind. When he shows up on the doorstep of his Uncle Andy and Aunt Constance newly sober, broke, and homeless, their conditions for staying are straightforward: work to earn your keep and come to church on Sundays. But a life-altering event sends him spiraling into a series of choices that aren't so straightforward. Stay sober, or drink? Return to Ruby, or move on with someone new? Become the same monster who victimized you, or stop before it's too late? Obsidian Raven is the third and final installment in The Flight series, an experimentally told tale of recovery and perseverance in spite of trauma and addiction. It contains graphic and vulgar themes including sex, recreational drug use, language, self-harm, and some violence. Reader discretion is encouraged.
