Paint It Black

Sex kills. Don't you know the rules? Ridinger Hall has secrets. The abandoned dorm has stood empty since a risque game went wrong and Heather Olsen crashed through a window on the highest floor and hurtled downward to her death. Now, thirty years later, another girl has fallen from a window and died. Deacon Garrison is in town for the funeral. Deacon has a gift. He can see ghosts. He's spent his life trying to escape them, crisscrossing the country in a vintage camper while blaring classic rock. He makes a point of avoiding places like Ridinger Hall. But as Deacon walks past Ridinger Hall, it calls to him. It is a siren song whispered through layers of rot and ruin. He is repulsed. He is compelled. He is enticed. Something about that abandoned dorm is appallingly irresistible. Soon, he discovers what he's done. Entering the building has released something awful and evil. That risque game Heather Olsen began demands completion. He can fall to his own death, or sleep with someone and pass the monstrosity on. Either way, that funeral he attended will only be the beginning... Dear Reader, You might like this ghost-hunting urban fantasy if you like Supernatural. Or if you dug the flick It Follows.
