Eighty-two tales of ghosts, witches, and scares passed down by word of mouth. In Historias de miedo para contar en la oscuridad, ghost travelers, man-eating witches, and wandering spirits appear in macabre tales passed from one person to another. Some stories turn a practical joke into tragedy; others cross centuries of legends and hauntings in North America and Europe. This movie tie-in edition brings all three books in the popular series together in one volume. Its collection of horror tales, legends, and ghost stories offers readers ages 9 to 12 a way to discover how scares change across time and place. Each tale opens a new door to the unsettling: which story will linger after the lights go out?
