A Professional Guide to REBT provides the reader with theoretical and detailed practical information from an experienced and qualified practitioner using and researching Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) day to day. Following a logical flow, each chapter covers a core tenet of REBT aligned with how REBT is practised. The book considers and briefly presents the research evidence to date, grounding this work in evidence-based practice. Each chapter provides a brief but detailed portrayal of REBT, informing readers how the REBT tenet is applied in practice and, importantly, why. A Professional Guide to REBT offers a thorough yet distilled guide on how the fundamentals of REBT are applied and is key reading for students, scholars, and practitioners of psychology, psychotherapy, and REBT.
